Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, technically competent and highly organised Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, functionality, safety and general management of the company's buildings, production facilities, equipment infrastructure and workplace environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or any other Engineering field, Building Technology, Estate Management or Facilities Management.
Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant facilities management experience.
Experience in factory, manufacturing, commercial building or industrial facility management is preferred.
Professional certifications in Facilities Management, Health and Safety or Project Management will be an advantage.
Good understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, generators, HVAC systems and general building maintenance.
Ability to prepare maintenance budgets, reports and asset registers.
Good knowledge of workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
Strong problem-solving, planning and organisational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness and general upkeep of company buildings, offices and factory premises.
Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs.
Monitor electricity, generators, water supply and other essential utilities.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
Coordinate contractors, technicians, cleaners, security personnel and maintenance vendors.
Maintain facility and equipment records and asset registers.
Prepare facility management reports and monitor maintenance expenditure.
