Job Summary:
We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented and highly organised Finance/Account Officer to manage the company's financial records, accounting operations, reporting and financial controls.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, retail, fashion or textile industries.
ICAN or ACCA qualification, part-qualification or professional membership will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
Good knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations, payroll accounting and financial reporting.
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, integrity and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and accounting documentation.
Prepare financial statements and management reports.
Monitor daily transactions, cash flow, income, expenditure and budgets.
Perform bank, supplier, customer, payroll and general ledger reconciliations.
Monitor production costs, raw material expenses and inventory valuation.
Ensure statutory tax compliance and audit readiness.
Identify financial discrepancies and recommend cost-saving measures.
