Job Summary
Ajaawa is seeking a proactive and organised Operations Officer to coordinate and oversee daily business operations. The successful candidate will ensure efficient operational processes, proper customer order coordination, effective supplier management, and quality service delivery.
Job Description
Coordinate and monitor daily business operations to ensure efficiency and timely service delivery.
Support the management and coordination of customer orders from placement to fulfilment and delivery.
Liaise with farmers, suppliers, logistics partners, and other stakeholders to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of produce.
Monitor product availability, pricing, inventory records, and supplier updates.
Maintain accurate operational records, databases, and documentation.
Track customer orders, identify potential delays, and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
Support quality assurance processes to ensure produce meets the company's required standards.
Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate communication between the sales, marketing, procurement, and logistics functions.
Prepare periodic operational reports, activity updates, and performance summaries.
Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Handle operational challenges and escalate critical issues when necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Previous experience in operations, administration, logistics, or business coordination.
Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital collaboration tools.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail, accountability, and time management.
Experience in e-commerce, supply chain, retail, or agribusiness is an added advantage.
