Inventory Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Ginos Ventures Limited, an indigenous distributor of medical consumables and devices across Africa, is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations, maintain accurate stock records, optimise stock levels, and minimise losses. The successful candidate will collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure effective inventory control and timely product availability.

Oversee daily stock receipt, storage, issuance, and reconciliation.

Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.

Forecast stock requirements in collaboration with the Procurement team.

Enforce inventory control procedures.

Conduct stock counts and resolve discrepancies.

Supervise warehouse organisation and stock handling.

Prepare inventory and stock movement reports.

Analyse stock data and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure proper storage and handling of medical supplies.

Monitor damaged, expired, and slow-moving stock.

Coordinate stock movement with relevant departments.

Maintain accurate inventory documentation.

Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Support internal and external inventory audits.

B.Sc. or B.A. in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in inventory management.

At least 3 years' experience in an Inventory Manager or supervisory role.

Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.

Proficiency in ERP and inventory management systems.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory forecasting.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in healthcare supply chain or distribution is an added advantage.
