Job Summary
Oriacore is seeking skilled, creative, and reliable freelance video editors to join its pool of production collaborators. Successful candidates will work on projects involving brands, businesses, entrepreneurs, and corporate clients. This is a project-based engagement with no fixed monthly salary. Payment will be agreed upon for each project before work begins, with assignments based on skills, availability, and client requirements.
Job Description
Edit raw footage into polished, professional video content.
Produce talking-head videos, social media reels, UGC videos, promotional videos, advertisements, interviews, podcasts, and other commercial content.
Perform colour correction, colour grading, audio cleanup, and sound balancing.
Add captions, subtitles, transitions, B-roll, lower thirds, and motion graphics where required.
Use professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
Follow creative briefs, brand guidelines, and technical specifications.
Meet agreed deadlines and communicate promptly about potential delays.
Handle revisions within the agreed project scope.
Organise project files and submit final exports and source files where required.
Maintain the confidentiality of client materials and project information.
Requirements
Demonstrable video editing experience and a portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in at least one professional video editing software.
Strong colour grading, audio editing, visual storytelling, and pacing skills.
Knowledge of motion graphics and Adobe After Effects is an advantage.
Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and implement feedback.
Reliable internet access and suitable editing equipment.
Strong time management skills and commitment to deadlines.
Ability to communicate availability and manage multiple assignments when necessary.
Engagement and Payment Structure
This is a freelance, project-based role with no guaranteed monthly income or volume of work. Each project will have an agreed scope, deadline, revision allowance, and payment terms before commencement. Payment will follow the agreed delivery and approval conditions.
