Job Summary:
Sisa Method is recruiting an experienced Operations and Asset Manager for its client's Ajaokuta Mini-LNG Project in Kogi State, a planned 7 MMscfd mini facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the operational model and asset management systems to support the facility's transition from construction and installation through commissioning to first gas.
Job Description:
1. Develop the Operations Readiness Plan, including responsibilities, deliverables and milestones through to stable operations.
2. Define the operating structure, staffing requirements, competency matrix, shift schedules and training needs.
3. Develop operating procedures for start-up, normal operations, shutdown, emergency shutdown and isolation.
4. Establish the asset register, criticality assessment, maintenance strategy, job plans and critical spares lists.
5. Coordinate equipment preservation, tagging, inspection and storage in line with logistics and OEM instructions.
6. Participate in system walkdowns and review vendor manuals, alarm/trip lists and handover documentation.
7. Establish reliability and performance measures, inventory controls and statutory inspection registers.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
2. Minimum of 7 years' experience in operations or maintenance within gas processing, LNG, power or process plants.
3. Experience in operational readiness, commissioning or start-up of new facilities.
4. Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), asset integrity and statutory inspection requirements.
5. Ability to develop operating and maintenance procedures.
6. Strong coordination skills across project teams, vendors and HSE teams.
7. Strong execution discipline, accountability, effective communication and evidence-based reporting.
