Musada Hotels and Luxury Suites, a 4-star hotel in Abuja offering luxury hospitality services, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Waiter to provide excellent dining service and ensure guests have a pleasant restaurant experience.
Job Description
Greet guests and escort them to their tables.
Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes, portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies.
Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
Inform customers about daily specials and recommend menu items when requested.
Upsell additional products when appropriate.
Take accurate food and drink orders using POS software or order slips.
Communicate order details to kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly.
Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any issues.
Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
Present bills and collect payments.
Clear dirty plates, glasses, and silverware for cleaning.
Attend staff briefings on daily specials, menu changes, and reservation requirements.
Follow relevant health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to guests.
Requirements
OND, HND, or BSc in a relevant field.
At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Waiter.
Warm personality, attentiveness, and smart presentation.
Ability to listen to and respond to guest needs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Accountability, resilience, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Commitment to delivering high standards of customer service.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Good teamwork and organizational skills.
