Job Summary:
A Fashion House in Abuja is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable Purchasing & Logistics Officer to manage procurement and coordinate the timely movement of fabrics, fashion accessories, production materials, and finished garments.
Key Responsibilities:
Source quality fabrics, trims, accessories, and other production materials at competitive prices.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate the transportation and distribution of materials and finished garments.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure the timely replenishment of essential supplies.
Inspect deliveries to verify quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications.
Maintain accurate record of purchases, supplier details, inventory, and logistics expenses.
Track orders and resolve supply or delivery delays to support seamless production and customer fulfilment.
Requirements:
OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Purchasing and Supply, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Relevant experience in procurement or logistics; experience in fashion, textiles, or apparel is an advantage.
Strong negotiation, organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
