Job Summary:
A Fashion House in Abuja is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and quality-driven Tailors’ Supervisor to oversee tailoring operations, supervise production staff, and ensure that all garments meet the brand’s standards of precision, fit, finishing, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise tailors and coordinate daily garment production activities.
Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of orders.
Inspect garments at different production stages to maintain excellent finishing and quality standards.
Ensure accurate interpretation of designs, measurements, patterns, and specifications.
Identify and correct fitting, stitching, and construction errors.
Ensure efficient use of fabrics, trims, and other production materials while minimizing waste.
Guide, and motivate tailors to improve productivity and craftsmanship.
Coordinate with designers and management to ensure designs are executed to specifications.
Maintain production records and report progress, challenges, and material requirements to management.
Requirements:
Must be a graduate.
Proven experience in tailoring, garment production, or fashion production supervision.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern interpretation, fitting, and finishing.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to premium-quality craftsmanship.
Ability to manage deadlines, supervise a team, and maintain high production standards.
