Job Description
Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, and market share targets.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base across Northern Nigeria.
Build and maintain relationships with distributors, poultry farmers, dealers, and key customers.
Lead, supervise, and motivate regional sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences, and pricing.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, action plans, and performance reports.
Monitor distributor performance, customer payments, credit exposure, and outstanding receivables.
Ensure effective implementation of sales policies, promotions, and customer service standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 7 years' relevant sales experience, preferably in poultry feeds, animal nutrition, or the livestock industry.
At least 3 years' experience in sales team leadership or regional sales management.
Strong understanding of the Northern Nigerian poultry market and distributor networks.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and managing key accounts.
Strong negotiation, leadership, analytical, and relationship-management skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
