Job Summary:
LAB360 Medical Laboratory is seeking a qualified professional to handle front-desk administration, patient registration, billing, and blood sample collection while ensuring excellent patient care and compliance with laboratory safety standards.
Job Description:
Collect, label, and transport blood samples for laboratory testing.
Register patients, enter medical information, update records, and process payments.
Obtain patient consent and verify identities before sample collection.
Follow infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
Attend to patient enquiries, manage appointments, and handle calls and messages.
Maintain patient confidentiality and provide professional customer service.
Support laboratory operations, manage office supplies, and collaborate with other departments.
Requirements:
Degree in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or training as a phlebotomist.
1–2 years of relevant work experience.
Certificate from an accredited phlebotomy programme is mandatory for trained phlebotomists.
Knowledge of venipuncture, finger-prick techniques, sample labelling, and infection control.
Experience using laboratory or hospital software, preferably LIMS.
Strong communication, organisational, computer, and customer service skills.
Attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
