Job Summary:
Charitos BO Hospital is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee financial planning, budgeting, payroll, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls to support effective financial management and decision-making.
Job Description:
Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and investment activities.
Prepare annual operating and capital expenditure budgets with relevant unit heads.
Monitor budget performance, revenue, expenditure, and profitability.
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and business performance analyses.
Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate salary computation.
Develop cost-saving strategies and submit monthly cost-saving reports to management.
Maintain withholding tax records and ensure compliance with statutory tax and audit requirements.
Establish internal controls to prevent financial leakages, fraud, and wastage.
Maintain financial records and oversee asset protection and documentation.
Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, sub-ledgers, and intercompany accounts.
Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely preparation of annual audited reports.
Supervise accounting staff, monitor performance, and coordinate staff training.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. An MBA is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Accounts Officer in a reputable medium-sized or large company.
ACA or a similar professional accounting qualification.
Strong financial analysis, reporting, and management skills.
Knowledge of treasury and investment management.
Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to interpret financial reports for management decision-making.
Knowledge of fraud prevention, detection, and investigation.
Strong people and performance management skills.
