Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Finance Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain financial records, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
Job Description:
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Collect, organise, and analyse financial data to assess financial performance.
Manage budgets, forecasts, financial projections, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries.
Maintain financial records, reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset registers.
Monitor financial KPIs, including profit margins, growth rates, and inventory turnover.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' work experience, including experience in an audit firm.
Experience in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance.
Professional accounting certifications are an added advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical, numerical, organisational, and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of regulatory compliance.
